Does my insurance cover medical care at the Student Health Center?
- Yes. The school health center is the same as the medical treatment in the PPO. Some insurances even have preferential co-payment of medical expenses for medical treatment at the school student health center.
If a baby is born during the study visit, what about the baby’s insurance?
- A baby born in the United States is a U.S. citizen, so the baby cannot be covered by J visa study insurance. The baby needs to purchase U.S. citizen insurance. Or make plans in advance to buy American newborn baby insurance.
Do I need to have J visa insurance during the summer vacation?
- Yes, as long as you hold a J visa, you will be required to have insurance that meets the requirements of the J visa for the entire period of your visit.
